English Language Arts 

Goal: By the end of the 2023-2024 school year 80% of students in grades K-3 will meet expected Spring reading diagnostic benchmarks (PALS, Core, DSA, ORF)

Strategy 1: Improve daily, systematic, explicit instruction in phonological awareness, phonics, and morphology in the core language arts block. 

Strategy 2: Expand use of skills-based grouping to ensure students demonstrate mastery of foundational skills.

Strategy 3: Increase use of data (e.g., iReady, CORE, PASS, PRF, WIDA) to plan instruction and monitor progress for students demonstrating risk.

Mathematics 

Goal: By the end of the 2023-2024 school year 80% of students in grades 3-6 will score a pass/pass advanced on the Math SOL. 

Chronic Absenteeism

Goal: Reduce and maintain the percentage of students who are chronically absent to 10% or less

Strategy 1: Create a school culture of engagement & belonging for students and families. Every staff, student, and family will feel safe and connected to the school community.

Strategy 2: Develop community partnerships to promote engagement opportunities for increased student attendance.
